Casas Bahia

Between 2006 and 2008, I was the VFX and animation coordinator working exclusively for the giant Brazilian retail company Casas Bahia, which is the biggest electronics and furniture retailer in South America.

I have pitched and designed a whole CGI department dedicated to this client, being in charge of the concept design, art direction and team supervision in order to produce an average of 10 films daily, including TVCs, promos and corporate videos. Due to the high demand of films and amendments, the department was designed to work 24 hours from Monday to Friday. I was the head of a team of 9 motion designers and 3 3D artists, working in three shifts to ensure the daily delivery of high quality animation and VFX.

Currently, Casas Bahia has around 750 stores in Brazil and it is still one the biggest advertiser of Latin America. Between 2006 and 2008, the company produced more than 20,000 print ads and an average of 4,000 films each year.
